Does any one no if course river sand would be safe in my tropical tank?
i got alot of course sand today from the fish river in NSW, it is course stuff, if i give it a good wash would it be safe for my tropical tank? 4ft tank 200L. Intend on putting community fish in it
I personally would be too scared to use it just in case it is contaminated.Mind i have no idea what your river is like.I would give it a good boil & sieve it but like i said i would not put it in my tank.
